How
do I register my child...
To
register your child we ask you to forward us the application form
or a covering letter, including contact details, alongside some
snapshots of your child. We do not require professional photographs
for application, a simple clear shot would do. Please include a
stamped address envelope and we will return your snapshots to you.
You
will receive a response, regardless of our decision, but if we were
interested we would invite your child to a test shoot. This enables
us to meet you and your child and to see if they are comfortable
and happy in a test shoot situation. From this we gain professional
images to represent your child with and these would be scanned to
make a model card and the photographs sent to you to keep.
Important!
We would like to point out that not every child is asked to register
with Tyne Tees Models. As a professional agency we can only accept
children who we think will secure work. If your child is not accepted
it is by no means a reflection on your child or their looks.
- The
test shoot costs £45 (inclusive of VAT). Tyne Tees Models,
unlike many other agencies does not charge joining/registration
fees or consultation fees. All of the administration costs, overheads,
faxing facilities, phone calls, courier service and negotiations
that are made on your behalf are paid by Tyne Tees Models.
- If
your child is selected by the agency, your child's picture will
be scanned into our computer system and laser cards will be produced
for representation. The charge for these is £20.00 (£17.02
+VAT).
- A
child must be licensed to work as a model or actor, and this is
organised through the agency and your local council. If your child
is accepted on our books you will receive the relevant forms to
apply for a child license.
