Miss Newcastle raised over £6k for the Percy Hedley Foundation! Congratulations to our Miss Newcastle 2010 winner Vee Sethu. Vee, 18, from Benton, was chosen by our panel of judges to represent our fantastic city at Miss England. The glamorous event was held at Newcastle Civic Centre in May and we would like to say a big thank you to everyone involved who helped us raise over £6000 for the Percy Hedley Foundation. Vee visited the school to present the cheque which will go towards a new hydrotherapy pool for their pupils. Thank you again to our main sponsors Eldon Square & Debenhams, and our 20 finalist sponsors for all of their support. We hope to see you all again in 2011! .

Once again it was a fantastic day with glorious weather and lots of glamorous ladies made the effort to dress up for the occasion. It was a very difficult decision as there were so many outfits & hats to choose from. Best Dressed Lady went to Christine Boyle from Durham, Best Hat went to Clare Harvey from Blaydon and Best Little Miss went to Jessica Fawcett. Thank you to Dennis and all of the team at Hexham Racecourse for such a lovely day.

Look Great with believe 2 achieve Believe2Achieve is all about getting you looking great, but its not just about weightloss - it offers a complete, holistic approach to health and fitness.Established in 2009 it is spearheaded by Amanda Grieveson and Katy Foggin. The equipment they use is state of the art but they also realise that offering people a quick fix will not lead to sustainable health improvement. Their lapex BCS laser treatment promises INSTANT inch loss, but they always follow up with tried and tested exercise and diet advice. The machine is perfect for those stubborn areas that you cannot lose through diet and exercise alone. We encouage people to have a goal, we can start them off, and tell them how to get to where they want to be , but a lot of people get lost on the journey. We encourage the change, we educate support and educate them, and hopefully help them to enhance their lives. Lesley from the agency had a session and was amazed by the results, " I felt great and noticed a dramatic difference after only one treatment"
