Bollywood fever hit Newcastle this summer with the first film of its kind to be made in the area. Romantic comedy ‘Kaun Bola???’ which translates to ‘Who Spoke???’ has been in production filming at various locations around the region such as Newcastle College, the Quayside, St Peter’s Church in Sacriston, Tynemouth Longsands, Grey’s Monument and many more fantastic locations in the North East. Kaun Bola??? was written and produced by Bollywood legend Arshad Warsi, who also stars as the lead male in the film. The comic actor is dubbed as the Jack Black of Bollywood and has attracted a huge fan base within the area. Stunning Indian actress Diya Mirza plays the part of Geena, the female lead. We have been providing models, actors, extras and dancers for the film which began production in July this year. There have been spectacular dance scenes, photo shoots and even stunt scenes. Filming is to finish in Goa, India and will premiere in Spring 2009. Tyne Tees Models would like to thank and congratulate everyone who took part in the film and hope it is the start of bigger things for the region.

Calling all models! It is vital that you keep us up to date with new pictures whether they are professional or snapshots. If your look or statistics change, we need to know as we need to represent you accurately to our clients. Children change so much within a short space of time and if we are putting them forward for work, we need to represent them with recent images. Feel free to email over snapshots or any updated details to mailbox@tyneteesmodels.co.uk so we can update your folder and model card. If you need an update shoot or want to be put in touch with a photographer for a portfolio session, contact the agency. |

It has been brought to our attention that some of our models are registered with other model/talent agencies in the North East region. Until now, Tyne Tees Models has never had an issue with this. However, with the number of agencies increasing in the the North East, it is proving difficult to send our models out on the best possible fee. We have found that smaller agencies have been undercutting prices to get contracts with clients, therefore underselling models, which in turn reflects on the professionalism of the industry. When artists are with several agencies they lose their uniqueness. As of October 2008, we will be asking all of our artists to be exclusive to Tyne Tees Models and not to seek representation from any other North East agencies. We are committed to our models and appreciate that being with more agencies can increase the chances of getting work. However, this only works when agencies are not in the same region. If you have any queries on this matter, please contact Kelly or Lesley at the agency. |
