Established in 1994 by Lesley Middlemiss Lister, company Director, Tyne Tees Models has developed from a small local business into the North East’s largest Modelling agency, our company represents over three thousand faces throughout the UK.

Tyne Tees Models is a commercial agency with a growing editorial section. We represent models in a  whole range of looks and ages, which cover all nationalities and ethnic backgrounds.

Tyne Tees Models also have a huge database of promotional staff, actors, extras, dancers, families, make-up artists and stylists. We proudly supply the leading studios, businesses, advertising agencies and PR companies with reliable and quality models.

Models including Jayne Windsor from South Shields and Whitley Bay girl Lucy Ratcliffe both rose to fame after joining Tyne Tees Models. Lucy won tv’s first series of ‘Britains Next Top Model’ and went on to work with cosmetics company Ruby & Millie and has travelled the world shooting for major campaigns. Jayne very quickly went on to International success completing shoots with John Rocha, Nicole Farhi, Manolo Blahnik and Marie Claire to name a few.

As a company who prides itself on high standards and professionalism, we work alongside National Open College Network and City & Guilds, the largest awarding body in the UK. We have developed the UK’s first modelling qualification and can now offer accredited training courses for models on a part time and full time basis, allowing total education flexibility.

 Following recent visits to Hong Kong and China, Lesley became inspired by Asian culture and the fashion industry. With the high demand for Western models in China she immediately arranged meetings with local agencies and went on to set up a joint venture in Shanghai. Tyne Tees Models can now offer solid international representation for those models extremely motivated and dedicated.
